Your son/daughter will need to bring his/her own personal equipment (the following list is a guide) and as a Scout/Explorer they should be encouraged to pack their own kit.

Black bin bags are not suitable for bedding rolls or sleeping bags as they tear easily with the result that the contents get lost.

Please ensure all clothing and property is named. (Please note the Scout Leaders are not responsible for the loss/damage of any clothing or property).

No IPADS, tablets, aerosol deodorant, fit bits or equivalents to be brought on camp.

Please do not send your child with a suitcase as this is not suitable for camp, they will need a rucksack or kit bag.

This is an outdoor camp, so decent walking boots will be required. There is a day trip, so trainers will be useful for that and provide a pair of old trainers/pumps that can get wet on the water day.

The camp is not a fashion show and we advise your son/daughter not to bring expensive clothing items. It would be best to bring old items that don’t matter if they get damaged or very dirty.  Please note low cut vest tops, hot pants and skimpy shorts are not acceptable clothing to be worn on camp.
